The Roxburghe Hotel

The Macdonald Roxburghe is an award winning four star hotel in the heart of Edinburgh. The hotel, part of the Macdonald Hotels and Resorts Group, is situated in Charlotte Square to the West End of the New Town, just a short walk from George Streetand Princes Street. As well as 198 bedroom the Roxburghe boasts a Health, Beauty and Fitness Club, a spa and a 12 metre swimming pool. The hotel's Melrose Restaurant overlooks Charlotte Square.

All the hotel's bedrooms have been refurbished to complement the Georgian architecture of the building and as well as single, double and twin rooms you can also book executive and family rooms with extra space. There are also a number of feature rooms and, for a real treat, there's the luxurious Adam Suite.

For business events the Roxburghe has six Georgian style meeting rooms and the George Suite which can accommodate up to 300 people or be split into two smaller rooms. The hotel also caters for special occasions such as weddings.

In 2009 the Macdonald Roxburghe picked up six Scottish Hotel Awards: Chef Medailles d'Or for Dinner Excellence, Conference & Events Commendation, Housekeepers of the Year, Concierge of the Year, Bedroom Design Commendation and Rising Star Industry Contributor.
